UAB Medicine's Monitor Room seeks an experienced Telemetry Department Lead to supervise assigned staff and ensure efficient shift operations across a 24/7 rotating schedule at UAB St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, AL.

You will coordinate resources, serve as a technical support, monitor progress, and participate in staff orientation and training. The role requires leadership in telemetry and adherence to policies to deliver high-quality patient care.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience.
• Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience.
• 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks of the telemetry department.
• Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
• Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties with staff.
• Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
• Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.

• Department: Monitor Room
• Schedule: Full-Time Rotating, 5 8-Hour Shifts, Rotates between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, and 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
• Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East

Qualifications

Education:
