RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Lead Telemetry Monitor Technician for the Telemetry Services at the New Brunswick Campus. The Lead Tech will monitor adult and pediatric cardiac rhythms, read and interpret rhythms, document in EPIC, and coordinate workflow, scheduling, and training for monitor techs.

Applicants should have AHA CPR, RWJUH Monitor Technician and EKG course certification, with telemetry experience preferred.

Formación

• American Heart Association CPR required.
• Certification following satisfactory passing grade in the RWJUH Monitor Technician and EKG course.
• Previous telemetry experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Complete 24 hour monitor tech assignment sheet.
• Complete daily charge report at the end of the shift.
• Train monitor techs in telemetry, rhythm interpretation, documentation and notification procedures.
• Oversee scheduling and staffing of monitor techs and ensure proper handoffs.
• Communicate equipment issues, upgrades and planned interruptions to shift lead techs.
