• Ability to recognize significant rhythm changes and notify clinicians promptly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing surveillance of patients' cardiac rhythms.
• Monitor telemetry and operate full-disclosure monitoring systems.
• Document rhythm strips and ensure chart accuracy.
• Set alarm limits as ordered by providers.
• Provide shift-to-shift reports for continuity.
• Respond to telephone and Vocera communications.
• Assist with staffing, equipment checks, and training as needed.
