Qualifications

• Completion of a formal dysrhythmia course.
• Demonstrated 12-lead ECG competency.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Previous clinical or patient care experience preferred, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients continuously with ECG rhythm surveillance.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs and assist with data interpretation for physicians and nurses.
• Manage telemetry devices and replace transmitters when patients move or return to the unit.
• Document patient data accurately on telemetry sheets and maintain charts.
• Maintain inventory of telemetry equipment and ensure unit readiness.
• Conduct rounds every two hours to verify monitoring status and equipment function.
