Job summary

Cache Valley Electric Company seeks a Project Manager to lead teledata, telecommunications and fiber optic projects from estimating through closeout. You will coordinate with owners, general contractors and field teams to ensure safety, schedule, cost and quality goals are met.

• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, telecommunications infrastructure, pathways and raceways, data center environments, and other low-voltage technology systems.
• Proven project management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teledata, telecommunications, fiber optic, and low-voltage projects from start to finish.
• Review project plans, specifications, drawings, contracts, scopes of work, and schedules.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, manpower requirements, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal field personnel.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project costs, billing, forecasting, change orders, purchase orders, and financial performance.
• Track labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs against project budgets.
• Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate schedule, cost, and performance issues.
• Review testing and certification documentation and ensure complete project turnover packages.
• Maintain accurate project records, schedules, budgets, correspondence, and closeout documentation.
• Assist with estimating, proposals, scope development, and preconstruction activities as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong customer and client relationships.
• Support business development and identify opportunities for additional work with existing customers.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
