NextEdge Networks Holdings LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Technician II, a senior field role responsible for tower construction, maintenance, and safety-compliant operations at height. You will lead installation tasks, coordinate with the Foreman, and mentor junior technicians, ensuring high-quality results.

The position requires climbing to elevations above 300 feet, lifting over 50 pounds, and travel about 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecommunications construction experience, including leadership roles.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain certifications such as RF awareness, competent climber/rescuer, fall protection, crane spotter.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex tower construction and maintenance activities on-site.
• Serve as the point leader on the tower, guiding team members for safety and efficiency.
• Oversee advanced installation tasks including grounding, coax/fiber handling, and connector installation.
• Conduct and supervise sweep, PIM, and fiber testing to validate performance.
• Maintain OSHA/EHS protocols and safety standards on the tower.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide on-the-job training.
