NextEdge is seeking a Telecommunications Technician II (Top Hand) to lead complex tower construction, repair, and maintenance projects at height. The role requires advanced technical expertise, certification in climbing/rescue, rigging, PPE, and specialized equipment operations, and the ability to guide team members on site.

The position emphasizes safety, compliance with technical standards, and mentorship of less experienced technicians.

Formación

• Minimum requirement: High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in telecommunications construction with leadership responsibilities.
• Must hold NWSA TTT2, OSHA30, and First Aid/CPR certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute complex tower construction and maintenance on-site.
• Serve as point leader on the tower for safety and efficiency.
• Oversee advanced installation tasks and testing to validate performance.
• Maintain OSHA/EHS compliance on the tower.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide on-the-job training.
• Operate rigging equipment and lifting devices for placement tasks.
• Interpret construction drawings and RFDS for accurate installations.
• Collaborate with Foreman and stakeholders to resolve issues.
