Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications.
• Must possess a Secret Clearance or TS/SCI.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to terminate fiber and copper cables.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of structured cabling systems.
• Troubleshoot entire communications systems.
• Review timesheets and expense reports for accuracy.
• Communicate daily with VTG PM on progress.

Skills

Telecommunications systems expertise

Ability to calculate figures and amounts

Knowledge of Database software

Understanding of floor plans and telecom layouts

Supervision of cabling installation crews

Education

BICSI Level 2 certification (preferred)

Tools

Fluke test sets or equivalent
