Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an ICT Designer 2 to advance telecommunications and physical security projects. You will lead engineering efforts, design integrated low-voltage systems, and deliver construction documents while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

You will work under senior designers, ensure QA/QC, and help drive project success through excellent communication and adherence to timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education/experience mix.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in low-voltage system design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design discussions with engineering teams and clients in telecommunications and security.
• Produce construction documents using REVIT, AutoCAD, and related tools.
• Design integrated low-voltage systems and calculate power loads, UPS specs, and single-line diagrams.
• Write specifications for low-voltage systems and perform QA/QC reviews.
• Collaborate with owners and project teams across all design phases.
