Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an ICT Designer 2 to join our Utah team. You will collaborate with engineering and client teams to deliver cutting-edge telecommunications and physical security solutions, leading low-voltage design efforts and ensuring high-quality, compliant construction documents.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, at least five years of low-voltage design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in low-voltage system design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Active commitment to employee-owned culture and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents in REVIT, AutoCAD, and other tools under supervision.
• Design integrated low voltage systems and calculate power loads.
• Determine UPS requirements and create single line diagrams.
• Write specifications for low voltage systems and coordinate with owners.
• Perform QA/QC on work and assist other designers as needed.
• Support project managers and participate in all design phases.
