Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Telecommunications Designer to lead data center ICT and structured cabling projects, providing technical leadership across planning, construction, and turnover. The role demands extensive Revit/BIM experience, standards compliance, and cross‑disciplinary coordination.

The candidate will translate owner requirements into scalable, repeatable solutions while guiding junior designers and ensuring quality across multiple campuses and geographic regions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible telecommunications or ICT design experience, including leadership of design delivery.
• Experience leading data center telecommunications packages and coordination across disciplines.
• Knowledge of standards such as BICSI, TIA, NEC, IEEE and AHJ requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecom design delivery from planning through construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate interfaces with building design, network, operations, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Develop Revit drawings and associated specifications in alignment with client requirements.
