Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Telecommunications Designer to guide the telecommunications infrastructure for hyperscale data centers. You will translate owner requirements into scalable, repeatable designs and lead teams across planning, construction, and turnover in a highly structured environment.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration with building systems, and ensuring design quality across multiple projects and campuses nationwide. Hybrid/remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in telecommunications/ICT design for data centers.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience leading telecom design packages in Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design data center telecommunications infrastructure, including cables, spaces, pathways, and layouts.
• Lead telecommunications design delivery from planning through construction and turnover.
• Coordinate interfaces with building design, network, operations, and construction teams.
