Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Technology Business Consulting Specialist to join our US Enterprise team in Atlanta, GA. You will gather client requirements, translate complex SAP needs into actionable specifications, and serve as the SAP architect from inception to launch.

You’ll collaborate with developers and stakeholders, apply best practices, and design efficient SAP solutions that fit customer workflows. Strong SAP and UML skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent.
• 4+ years with SAP technologies (S/4HANA on‑prem/cloud) and ABAP.
• Knowledge of SAP SD, FI, AR; familiarity with Fiori Apps.
• Strong UML modelling and end‑to‑end systems understanding.
• Ability to translate business needs into SAP consulting specs.
• Good programming language knowledge and architectural thinking.

• Responsible for gathering client requirements, analyze trends and apply best practices.
• Create detailed program specifications
• Consult with peers, developers and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into recommendations for consulting services within SAP
• Serve as the main SAP architect for payments from inception to launch
• Devise procedures to achieve efficiencies and solve complex technical problems
• Incorporate Global payments solutions to customers' payment workflows
• Researching clientneeds, analyzingtrendsandbestpracticesand creatingdetailedprogramspecifications
• Devisingproceduresto achievegreaterefficienciesandsolvecomplextechnicalproblems.

What you’ll bring

• ABachelor’sinComputerScienceorInformationSystemsortheequivalentexperience.
• An adept knowledge of ABAP and major SAP applications (SD, FI, AR, etc) 4 years of experience with SAP technologies (S/4HANA On Prem, S/4HANA Private/Public Cloud, etc) and their infrastructure requirements.
• Familiarity with Fiori Apps
• A good understanding of S/4HANA best practices
• Advancedknowledgeofmultipleend-to-endsystemsas well asapplicationdevelopment.
• ProficiencyinbusinessmodelingandrequirementsdefinitiondisciplinesthroughUnifiedModelingLanguage(UML).
