Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Wintersville, OH is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee shifts, supervise technicians, and ensure timely repairs of trailers, refrigeration units, and fleet systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technician or Supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own toolbox and required tools.
• Strong leadership with a safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and ensure high-quality repairs.
• Assign tasks to technicians and manage workflow.
• Answer calls, assist customers, and create work orders.
• Ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration units using OEM software.
• Perform PMs and FHWA/DOT inspections on trucks/trailers.
• Lead by example and keep the shop organized.
