Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Lead Technician to lead a dynamic fleet service team in Ochelata, OK. The role combines hands-on repair work with shift leadership, ensuring timely maintenance and high quality repairs on refrigeration units and heavy trucks.

You will diagnose electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and supervise technicians to meet deadlines while upholding safety standards. Includes shift differentials and ASE certification incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Experience with diesel mechanics or refrigeration tech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and ensure work is completed to high standards.
• Assign tasks to technicians and manage workflow.
• Answer customer service calls and create work orders as needed.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the shop.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration units using OEM software and diagnose electrical issues.
• Repair truck/trailer systems: fuel, coolant, electrical, drivetrain, brakes, suspension.
• Perform PM services on trailers, refrigeration units, and APUs.
• Conduct FHWA/DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
