Job summary

Clean Tec Outsourcing LLC in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose and repair all equipment used in resort operations. You will own engine, pump, and drive-system work, order parts, and sign off each work order before invoicing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience repairing commercial cleaning equipment, small engines or utility vehicles such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, carpet extractors, tuggers, and carts.

Job description

Lead Technician: $27.00/hr

• Role: diagnoses and repairs all equipment, owns engine, pump, and drive-system work, orders parts, and signs off each work order before it is invoiced
• Experience: 3+ years repairing commercial cleaning equipment, small engines or utility vehicles. That means floor scrubbers, pressure washers, carpet extractors, tuggers, and carts.
• Must know: small gas engines (Honda, Toro), 12–48V battery-electric systems and wiring diagrams, multimeter use, and pumps, hoses, and pressure fittings. Able to read service manuals and parts diagrams.
• Nice to have: factory training from Karcher, Tennant, Nilfisk/Advance or IPC Eagle, a small-engine certification, and experience in hotels or large facilities.

Also:

• Comfortable logging time, parts, and photos in a phone or tablet app, and able to guide and check the helper’s work.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Pass a background check
• Able to lift 50 lb and to work standing, kneeling and outdoors
• Professional conduct in guest areas of the resorts
• Flexible hours around resort operations
