Job summary

Slash is seeking a Technical Writer to amplify the work of its engineering team. You will become the voice of Slash engineering, turning complex systems and architecture into engaging, readable content that engineers want to read.

You'll collaborate with engineers, founders, product, and design to ensure technical accuracy and compelling storytelling, publishing a variety of blog posts, deep dives, and launch write-ups with ownership and fast delivery.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, CS, or serious technical writing.
• Able to translate rough ideas into sharp, publishable writing without losing voice.
• Writes for engineers, not at them; clear writing that respects reader intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Own our engineering blog end to end, from understanding what shipped to publishing a post that does it justice.
• Turn engineers' and founders' ideas into polished blog posts, technical deep dives, launch write-ups, and social content.
• Make it effortless for the team to publish their ideas; turn theirs into high-quality content.
