Job summary

Doist is looking for a skilled technical writer to build and run a content engine that enables a regular cadence of high-quality engineering content. You will design launch narratives with the Product team and transform engineering stories into compelling material for developers and stakeholders.

You’ll pull stories from engineers, interview teams, and write pieces that others in the community will reference. Expect to publish across blogs, video, docs, and talks with a distinctive point of view.

Qualifications

• 5+ years writing for a technical audience (dev/media/DevRel).
• Published work that traveled: Hacker News front page, quoted threads, etc.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the content engine to ship high-quality technical content.
• Design launch narratives with the Product team to reduce overhead with each release.
• Turn customer stories by interviewing engineering teams and writing compelling content.
• Set the bar for technical content: deep dives, benchmarks, teardowns, comparisons.
• Extend content beyond blog: video, YouTube, docs, changelog, talks.
