Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Lead Technical Writer for Agentforce Operations to own and expand developer documentation and API content. You will collaborate with product and engineering to translate rapid startup-style changes into clear, actionable content that scales with the product.

You will partner with engineers and leaders to shape documentation strategy, improve user guidance, and accelerate adoption of AI-driven workflows across the Salesforce platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional technical writing, ideally including developer or API documentation.
• Maintain and scale existing documentation architecture and strategy while adapting to new features.
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving org structure.
• Experience working with engineers/founders in fast-paced startup-like environments.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and ability to build trust in cross-functional teams.
• Growth mindset with flexibility to reprioritize week to week.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and research.
• Experience with developer-oriented tooling and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation for Agentforce Operations' workflows and APIs.
• Learn quickly and translate startup-speed processes into clear, usable content.
• Partner with stakeholders in a forming org to define ownership and responsibilities.
• Staff cross-functional pods to co-create content, UI labels, and in-code user assistance.
• Leverage AI tools for content creation, review, and research.
• Navigate integration between startup culture and Salesforce standards, advocating for customers.
• Adapt to changes as org structure and priorities evolve.
