Job summary

Lanco Group of Companies is seeking an experienced trainer to join our Illinois-based training center. You will deliver instructor-led sessions on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, lead live demonstrations, and run hands-on labs for customer teams.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and ongoing content improvement. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in heavy equipment and strong diagnostic skills, with LMS experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

5+ years in heavy equipment or mobile machinery.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics.
Experience with diagnostic tools like DMMs and gauges.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deliver instructor-led technical training on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems.
Lead classroom discussions, live demos, and hands-on labs.
Set up, manage, and maintain training labs and equipment.
Reinforce safety procedures during all training activities.
Monitor participation and assess skills as required.
Provide feedback to improve course content and effectiveness.
Develop new training materials, labs, and assessments.
Maintain documentation of attendance and engagement.
Represent training during customer visits and off-site events.
Collaborate with trainers and technical teams to improve delivery.
