Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technical Support Engineer to support the WSOTS II contract. The role focuses on GSCCE operations, troubleshooting, and training for the Wideband Global SATCOM system, requiring significant DoD-related experience and an active TS clearance.

The candidate will collaborate with the watch office, SSE team, and OEMs to diagnose problems, develop procedures, and support training initiatives, while travel up to 20% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 9+ years of relevant experience with a degree; 7+ with grad degree; 13+ years if no degree.
• Experience in WSOC operations and 2+ years as system administrator in Windows/VM environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical assistance, analysis, and informal training for WGS/GSCCE.
• Serve as technical authority for GSCCE operations and performance improvements.
• Lead GSCCE troubleshooting and issue resolution; diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
• Document all troubleshooting steps and actions within logs within 48 hours of resolution.
