Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager for the Silicon Photonics Test Solutions team in North Reading, MA. You will own and lead the development of advanced optical test systems, guiding cross-functional teams to meet milestones and deliver customer-focused solutions with a player-coach mindset.

The role requires a strong background in semiconductor test equipment and optical design, plus 12+ years in engineering and technical project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; master's preferred.
• 12+ years in engineering design or management, optical systems design, and technical project management.
• PM certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design, development, and deployment of optical test systems.
• Directly manage and mentor technical project managers.
• Coordinate across marketing, systems engineering, design engineering, and operations to meet milestones.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and monitor progress against metrics.
• Identify risks, communicate status to stakeholders and senior management.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and customers.
