Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Lead to drive the technical execution of next-generation Silicon Photonics test platforms. This senior leader will act as the technical authority for complex programs—aligning architecture, requirements, risk management, integration, and production readiness from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience developing complex, multidisciplinary products is required.
• Demonstrated success leading major engineering programs from concept through production release.
• Deep expertise in at least one engineering discipline with ability to work across others.
• Experience guiding multidisciplinary teams through prototyping, integration, verification, validation, and production release.
• Ability to drive technical alignment across matrixed organizations without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own technical execution from concept through production release and act as the primary technical decision-maker.
• Define and communicate the technical vision, product architecture, and development strategy.
• Balance tradeoffs among performance, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and schedule.
• Lead design reviews, readiness reviews, and phase-gate assessments.
• Coordinate with engineering functions to align expertise and resources with program needs.
• Engage with customers and suppliers to translate requirements into technical objectives and ensure successful delivery.
