Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks a Technical Operations Supervisorin GAC Savannah to lead the Large Cabin Mechanical Team. You will guide maintenance, troubleshooting, and airworthiness of complex systems, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Customer Support.

Ideal candidates have 9+ years in aircraft maintenance with supervisory experience, plus an A&P license or EASA B1/B2. This role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and customer-focused problem solving.

Qualifications

• 9 years aircraft maintenance and operations experience to include supervisory/leadership experience.
• An A&P license, EASA B1/B2 or FlightSafety Master Technician certification and four additional years of related aircraft experience may offset the degree.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage group to CIO, Organizational, EIP, and Contact Center goals using Lean methodology to improve efficiency.
• Maintain efficient turnover and work assignments for after-hours/weekend and day personnel.
• Support AOG reports, including composition/distribution on time.
• Manage employee development and training plans; communicate performance expectations and performance appraisals.
• Exercise supervision over systems specialists to ensure department responsibilities are accomplished timely.
• Provide problem resolution by organizing logistics and vendors to repair AOG aircraft.
• Respond to in-flight emergencies by coordinating resources and providing technical data.
• Develop troubleshooting plans tailored to operator/aircraft needs and guide stakeholders to RTS.
• Devise alternative approaches for complex aircraft systems and propose new engineering methods.
• Review correspondence from operators and field personnel to provide repair drawings.
• Manage the Airborne Product Support fleet 24/7 and dispatch aircraft to support customers.
