Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic to join our fast-paced warehouse team in Jurupa Valley, CA. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of conveyors and related equipment.

You will diagnose complex failures, repair and recalibrate control systems, and contribute to reliability improvements while ensuring safe operations and strong uptime.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or automated material handling environment.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Experience using troubleshooting and diagnostic tools including multimeters and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls-related issues on material handling equipment.
• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities per schedules and procedures.
• Electrical & Controls Support: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including motors, motor controls, sensors, and VFDs.
• Technical Support & Continuous Improvement: Install, commission, and modify conveyor systems and provide guidance to team.
• Documentation & Inventory Management: Maintain maintenance records in CMMS and track labor and parts.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA/LOTO requirements and keep a safe work environment.
