Job summary

IFG US is seeking a Manager for its Technical Accounting team in Downtown Chicago. The role focuses on advanced accounting research, US GAAP, SEC disclosures, and coordinating with Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Finance to resolve complex matters.

The ideal candidate has a CPA with at least 6 years of accounting experience and will mentor staff while advancing professional development in a fast-growing hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience (or public accounting) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced accounting research under US GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Prepare or review technical accounting memos to substantiate conclusions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and report complex accounting matters.
• Review impairment and CECL analyses; oversee fair value assessments.
• Prepare and review disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K; support Audit Committee meetings.
