Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, seeks a Lead Tech Nuclear Medicine to lead quality control, daily checks, and nuclear medicine testing under NRC guidelines. You will support the Operational Manager and Medical Director to ensure safe, efficient operation of the Nuclear Medicine service.

The role requires ARRT/CNMT registration, 6–8 years of full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, and 5+ years supervisory experience. Day shift, full-time; no weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with hospital, NRC, OSHA and JCAHO guidelines and regulations.

Job Summary

The Lead Tech Nuclear Medicine completes quality control and daily checks as required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the hospital Radiation Safety Program. Performs nuclear Medicine testing as required, and assist the operational Manager and the Medical Director of Nuclear Medicine in the safe and efficient operation of the Nuclear Medicine service. Responsible for complying with all hospital, federal, NRC, OSHA and JCAHO guidelines and regulations.

Minimum Education and Experience
  1. Registration by the ARRT and/or the CNMT.
  2. Six to eight years experience in full time employment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  3. Over five years of supervisory experience.

Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Day Shift. No weekend work required.

Salary Range: Minimum 43.42/hour - Maximum 75.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
