Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist for day shift. The role involves performing quality control and NRC-mandated checks, coordinating nuclear medicine testing, and supporting leadership to ensure safe, efficient service.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT and/or CNMT certification, 6–8 years of NM experience, and over five years of supervisory experience, with a commitment to compliance and high patient care standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with hospital, NRC, OSHA and JCAHO guidelines and regulations.

Job Summary

The Lead Tech Nuclear Medicine completes quality control and daily checks as required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the hospital Radiation Safety Program. Performs nuclear medicine testing as required, and assists the operational Manager and the Medical Director of Nuclear Medicine in the safe and efficient operation of the Nuclear Medicine service. Responsible for complying with all hospital, federal, NRC, OSHA and JCAHO guidelines and regulations.

Minimum Education And Experience
  • Registration by the ARRT and/or the CNMT.
  • Six to eight years experience in full‑time employment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Over five years of supervisory experience.

Shift: Full‑Time (40 hours per week), Day Shift. No weekend work required.

Salary Range: Minimum 43.42/hour - Maximum 75.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
