Job summary

Child Saving Institute in Omaha seeks a Lead Teacher for Toddlers to guide daily classroom activities, foster language development, and ensure a safe, engaging environment. You will document progress, communicate with families, and supervise activities to promote healthy development.

Requirements include 3+ years in early childhood education, strong communication, and a degree in ECE or CDA (or equivalent). First Aid/CPR certification preferred; a CDA or higher is expected within 12 months.

Your responsibilities would include supervising and coordinating daily classroom activities, providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, and fostering healthy development through structured learning. In short, our Lead Educator will ensure children are engaged, safe, and thriving in their early educational journey.Summary and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an Lead Educator to act as CSI’s newest team member. This person will be responsible for:Helping children discover new interests through day-to-day lessons, activities, and social interactions.Developing and encouraging age-appropriate learning and socialization to ensure children learn basic skills and concepts, such as communication, manners, and sharing.Modeling strong communication skills including grammar, enunciation, and developing language skillsKeeping daily records related to the care and progress of each child.Providing direct supervision and ensuring safety and engagement during activities and outings.Communicating effectively with parents, sharing information, discussing concerns, and facilitating conferences.Maintaining a safe, structured, and organized learning environment.Do you think you’d be a good fit for this role?
