Job summary

Step by Step Montessori- Maple Grove is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum, plan engaging activities, and assess student progress.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, CDA/associate degree or equivalent, Montessori certification preferred, strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management, with a passion for early childhood education.

Qualifications

• CDA, Associate's degree, or equivalent early childhood education credential required/Montessori Certification preferred
• Montessori background strongly preferred for teaching approach
• Experience in Montessori environment is beneficial and encouraged

Are You Qualified?

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• CDA, Associate's degree, or equivalent early childhood education credential required/Montessori Certification preferred

• 2-3 Years of Experience required
• Must meet all state-specific licensing and employment requirements
• Experience in a Montessori teaching environment is strongly preferred; a willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy is required.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required.
• The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills
• A commitment to fostering independence, confidence, and respect in young children
• Previous experience working with toddlers strongly preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a teaching team
