Job summary

Lutheran Living Services is seeking a dependable, enthusiastic Lead Teacher for a full-time role in our child care center in Wauwatosa, WI. The Lead Teacher will maintain a positive and healthy learning environment and facilitate developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote physical and intellectual development of children.

Open positions are Monday through Friday. This temporary position for the 2-year-old room runs 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead teacher maintains a positive, healthy learning environment and facilitates developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicates effectively with co-teachers and parents to support child development.
• Works full-time in a Monday–Friday schedule in the Wauwatosa, WI center.

We are currently seeking a dependable, enthusiastic Lead Teacher for a full-time opportunity in our child care center! Requirements:

• Completion of courses for certification in child care education.
• High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Level 5 or higher on the Wisconsin Registry preferred.
