Job summary

The Bradley Center in Pittsburgh is seeking a Lead Teacher for a licensed private academy serving students with special education needs. The role requires initiative, compassion, and a strong calling to help children succeed.

Responsibilities include managing enrollment, testing coordination, and supervising teachers while supporting academic initiatives. Qualifications include education degrees and PA Special Education certification, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education required.
• Master’s degree in Education preferred.
• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification required.
• Minimum of three years experience working with youth in an educational setting.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage student schedules, school rosters, census, and daily enrollment
• Oversee PowerSchool report cards, transcripts, PA Secure IDs, and Keystone tracking
• Coordinate CDT admission/discharge testing, PSSA/Keystone testing, and test administrator training
• Conduct teacher observations, evaluations, supervision, and new teacher support
• Manage clinical paperwork and oversee credit recovery
• Participate in and support academic initiatives
