The Sprout School in Richmond is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide a mixed-age classroom using a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum. You will document learning through observations, reflect on practice, and collaborate with co-teachers, families, and the community to create a cohesive, enriching experience for children.

Minimum qualifications include CDA/AA/BA in ECE or equivalent, strong communication skills, and knowledge of early childhood education principles. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• CDA or AA/BA in ECE; or a Non-ECE BA with 15 ECE credits and 1 year of experience. Or Bachelor's degree in any major.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of Early Childhood Education.

Responsabilités

• Lead a mixed-age classroom, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment.
• Implement and adapt the Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum to meet the developmental needs and interests of each child.
• Document children's learning processes through observations and reflections.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
