The Sprout School in Richmond, VA is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our early childhood team. You will lead a mixed-age classroom, implement a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, and document children's learning through observations and reflections.

Collaborating with families and co-teachers, you’ll foster a nurturing environment, participate in ongoing professional development, and support young children’s growth in a diverse, inclusive community.

Qualifications

• CDA or AA/BA in ECE or equivalent with ECE credits.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of Early Childhood Education.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• CDA or AA/BA in ECE; or a Non-ECE BA with 15 ECE credits and 1 year of experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of Early Childhood Education.
