Qualifications

• Successful Lead Teachers design and facilitate rigorous instruction across core subjects with a focus on real-world projects.
• Ability to reflect, grow, and iterate to refine curriculum and school culture.
• Experience collaborating with grade-level teams and families to support student growth.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate rigorous, culturally responsive instruction across core academic subjects, social-emotional learning, and project-based learning.
• Maintain an asset-based, growth-oriented mindset toward all students and staff.
• Collaborate with peers to plan units, analyze assessments, and improve instruction and curriculum.
• Partner with students and families to create Learning Partnership Plans with ambitious goals.
• Communicate with families at least monthly about student progress.
• Enact restorative practices to build community and respond/repair when values are not upheld.
• Participate in professional learning, coaching, and school-wide initiatives.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities aligned with the needs of a growing founding school.
