Job summary

DeKalb Brilliance Academy in Georgia is seeking Lead Teachers to design and facilitate rigorous, culturally responsive instruction while refining systems, curriculum, and school culture at a growing founding charter.

Lead Teachers report to Assistant Principals and collaborate with grade-level teams. The role requires strong instructional skills, commitment to growth, and a willingness to build and iterate with colleagues to achieve excellence for every student.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia teaching certification required.
• Willingness/eligibility to pursue a teaching certification if not certified.
• Minimum two years teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead classrooms with rigorous, culturally responsive instruction.
• Collaborate with grade-level/content teams to plan units and analyze assessments.
• Engage families through monthly progress updates and community partnerships.
• Participate in professional learning and coaching.
