Kiddie Academy of Abingdon, the corporately owned Academy, has a rewarding opportunity for a patient, flexible, and nurturing person to join our team as a Part Time Lead Teacher. Qualifications

• 1-year minimum early childhood education work experience.
• 45 Hour Infant Toddler Certification required, 90 Hour Preschool Certification is preferred in addition.
• Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state of Maryland and local regulatory agencies
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high and pass a medical exam/physical

About this role

You’ll use your caring attitude, creative nature and excellent communication skills in the classroom to foster curriculum-based play. Among your responsibilities will be:
