Job summary

KinderCare Education is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor staff, implement the company’s curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children can learn and grow. You will collaborate with parents and center leadership to drive enrollment and program quality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with state requirements, and a commitment to high-quality early childhood education across diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy required or preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• State-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• English reading, writing, speaking required to communicate with children and parents

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement curriculum consistent with needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education
• Support center’s enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and partners
