Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor peers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, engaging learning environment for children. You will collaborate with parents and center staff to support enrollment and accreditation goals while upholding high standards of care.

The role requires strong communication, a CDA credential or candidacy, and ECE experience. Minnesota premium upholds additional pay, with a strong emphasis on safety and child development.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Must possess or pursue CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must meet state-specific qualifications or be willing to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to use a computer; lift up to 40 pounds; indoors or outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligning with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support children's education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and partners.
