Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor classroom staff, deliver our curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing environment for children. You’ll partner with families to provide outstanding care and education, while supporting center goals around enrollment and accreditation.

The role requires state-aligned credentials and ECE experience. The position emphasizes teamwork, community partnership, and a commitment to child development, with competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; ability to multi-task effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy as required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; meet state qualifications or be willing to obtain.
• Proficiency with computers; ability to lift up to 40 pounds; indoor/outdoor work.
• English reading/writing/speaking to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
