Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Team Lead for our child care center. You will mentor teachers, implement curriculum, and ensure high-quality daily care aligned with licensing guidelines.

The role emphasizes classroom leadership, family communication, and smooth operations under a supportive leadership team. The ideal candidate has experience in licensed childcare, credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, and the ability to meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility and leading a classroom.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote children's social, physical, and intellectual growth through effective classroom instruction and activity planning.
• Lead on curriculum implementation and classroom management to deliver consistent learning experiences.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support each child's progress.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers to foster a positive learning environment.
• Assume Director/Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
