Job summary

Learning Care in Knoxville, TN seeks a Team Lead to mentor teachers and support school operations. You may assume Director/Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school, while ensuring daily care per licensing guidelines and company standards.

You will create engaging learning experiences, mentor teachers, and maintain clear communication with parents and prospective families to support each child's success.

Qualifications

• Coaching and training staff members.
• Experience leading a classroom.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree in ECE / CD or CDA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as mentors to fellow teachers while supporting directors in daily school operations.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in absence, including opening/closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Create fun and interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.
