Job summary

La Petite Academy Knoxville is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide preschool learners and mentor fellow teachers. You will create engaging learning experiences and lead curriculum implementation to meet licensing standards and center policies.

You will communicate with families, supervise the classroom, and ensure a safe, active environment that supports growth in social, physical, and cognitive areas. We offer supportive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care: promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots: lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate: build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support your center’s success.
