Job summary

KinderCare is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classroom staff, implement the center's curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing learning environment for children. You will partner with families to deliver high-quality care and education, while collaborating with leadership to drive center enrollment and accreditation goals.

Qualified candidates typically have CDA candidacy or state qualifications, 2–3 years of ECE experience, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to lift 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must hold active CDA credential or be NAeyc candidacy eligible.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for this role or be willing to obtain them.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum while accommodating each child's unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Develop positive relationships with families, teachers, regulators, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills; multi-task effectively.
