Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to mentor peers, implement our curriculum, and nurture a safe, engaging learning environment for children. This role emphasizes strong customer service, collaboration with families, and partnership with center staff to support enrollment and accreditation.

The position requires you to meet state qualifications or pursue them, possess or pursue a CDA credential, and maintain CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, multi-tasking ability.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• English reading, writing, speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum aligned with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities, and partners.
