Job summary

La Petite Academy in Owasso, OK is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide early learning experiences and mentor fellow staff. You’ll manage daily activities, support curriculum implementation, and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for preschoolers.

You will build strong relationships with families, communicate progress, and contribute to a positive, supportive center culture that values growth and learning for every child.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• CDA or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure licensing guidelines and company standards are followed.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
