Job summary

KinderCare in Owasso, OK is seeking a dedicated lead teacher to inspire and guide a team of early childhood educators. You will implement the center’s curriculum while tailoring activities to each child’s needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for play and learning.

Collaborate with parents and center leadership to support enrollment and accreditation goals, while building strong relationships with families, peers, licensing authorities, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Active CDA credential or pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support children’s care and education.
• Support your center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
