Job summary

The Goddard School in Ballwin, MO is seeking lead teachers to coordinate daily classroom operations, plan engaging activities, and partner with parents to deliver high‑quality education and care for children aged six weeks to six years.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate or BA in Early Childhood Education (or related field), CDA preferred, and 1–2 years of experience. Must pass background checks, lift up to 50 lbs, and commit to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1–2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Meets background check eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily classroom operations, planning, presenting, and evaluating activities.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
