Job summary

The Goddard School in Illinois is seeking committed lead teachers to plan, present and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our teachers work with children aged six weeks to six years, communicating with parents daily to provide quality service and develop strong relationships with families. Growth opportunities and a supportive team are available.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field
• CDA or
• Degree in any field with 6 hours of Early Childhood credits
• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
• Meets background check eligibility

Responsibilities

• Lead teachers coordinate daily class operations and plan, present, and evaluate activities.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Maintain ratios and ensure the classroom has resources to support success.
