Job summary
The Learning Experience in Tulsa seeks a Lead Teacher to set the academic foundation for lifelong learning and to inspire joy in young minds. You will lead a dynamic classroom, guiding infants, toddlers, or preschoolers with our proprietary LEAP Curriculum and collaborate with families and center leadership.
Ideal candidates have a state-aligned education credential (CDA/AA/BA), at least 2 years in childcare with leadership, and a commitment to safety, development, and ongoing professional
Qualifications
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Current CDA, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a childcare setting with leadership experience.
- Must meet state & federal immunization, health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating, welcoming classroom.
- Lead curriculum implementation with LEAP Curriculum, adapting to children’s needs.
- Prioritize safety and a nurturing environment for growth.
- Regularly update families on progress via apps and in-person meetings.
- Collaborate with staff and leadership to support retention and enrollment.
